How to sew on a button
Share
Hi, in this article I'll briefly explain how to sew a button back on in a simple way! So, make yourself a coffee and keep reading.
Buttons loosening or popping off at the most undesirable times, but fortunately, sewing them back on is very simple; you'll only need a needle, thread, and the button, of course. This is the method I use to sew buttons on my shirts; I find it simple yet makes the stitching very durable.
Brief tutorial:
-Tie a knot in the thread and make a couple of stitches exactly where the button will be
-Insert the button onto the thread (it can have 4 or 2 holes)
-Start sewing up and down through the two or four holes
-Bring the needle out from under the button and wrap the thread two or three times around the button's "base."
-Secure everything with a couple of stitches and a knot

I hope this tutorial was helpful, see you soon!
